Are DoliCloud and Dolibarr ready for electronic invoicing (FacturX, Peppol, Facturae, VeriFactu, PDP...)?

The evolution of electronic invoicing laws concerns two aspects:

Electronic Invoicing Format

There are several electronic invoice formats.
- In some countries (France, Germany, etc.), invoices must be issued in the Factur-X electronic invoice format (also called ZUGFeRD / XRechnung in Germany). This is an additional XML file embedded in the .pdf file itself.
- In Spain, it is the Facturae format.
- In other countries (Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Norway, Austria, Sweden, Singapore, Japan, etc.), invoices must be issued in Peppol format. This is an invoice in XML format incorporating the .pdf file.

To support the invoice format, you must install the external format support module, generally available at https://www.dolistore.com (For example: the following Factur-X module or the Peppol module following, depending on your country), to generate or read electronic invoices.
These modules should be available as standard starting in early 2026. If you use Dolibarr via a cloud offering such as DoliCloud, these modules will be available via an update in early 2026.

Invoice transfer and retrieval platforms

Legislative changes in some countries require invoices to be transferred, retrieved, or verified via a dedicated external platform.
- In France, invoice transfer and retrieval must be done via a Partner Dematerialization Platform (called a PDP). Such modules should be available in early 2026. They will be free... but since PDP platforms are private partners, they will be paid, and you will need to pay a subscription to the PDP platform. If you use Dolibarr via a Cloud offering (such as DoliCloud), the module will be deployed via an update, and the PDP fee, negotiated wholesale by DoliCloud, will be added to your subscription.
- In Spain, this will be done via the VeriFactu platform. The interface with this system can be done using the same modules as the Facturae format support modules (or via a second module).
- In countries that require exchanges on the Peppol network, invoice transfer and retrieval can be done from Dolibarr using the Peppol Full Integration external module.
